How to jailbreak iPad with Spirit on Mac

iPad "jailbreaking" has been a hot topic since Apple released its tablet this 2010. While the amazing device does indeed have applications for "just about everything," Apple's sometimes arbitrary or self-serving rejections of apps such as Google Voice has turned more people on to the idea of freeing themselves from dependence on Apple for these resources. Now DevTeam have again lived up to their reputation with the release of Spirit jailbreak for iPad.

Do you know of a VLC type media player for Jailbroken iPads? I don't like having to convert videos and this would be a godsend...

well, I have heard that VLC4iPhone can make it, but I don't have a try, maybe you can search via google and get more info.

I did search about that one but I don't find iPad specific information. The hardware is much more media capable on the iPad if i am not mistaken.
