How is the Mac-WP7 integration?

I'm wondering if anyone out there is using a WP7 device with a Mac? I love the OS, but i'm nervous about switching to the Titan because I use a Mac at home.

Some specifics:

* How is iTunes integration?
* How do Google Calendars / Contacts fit with the People Hub?

Thanks for any and all thoughts you folks have.

Microsoft claims it can sync your iTunes library to Windows Phone 7 via the Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac.

What version of Mac OS do you have? Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac runs on 10.6 or later.

I have not yet integrated my Google with my WP7 so I cannot speak to that.

Honestly you do not need a computer to use the phone. I only plug into a computer to charge at work or at home (when needed)

I currently use a MacBook Pro (early 2009) with Snow leopard, it works fine. Since the zune software is not available for Mac OS X you use windows phone connector (www.microsoft.com/windowsphone/en-us/apps/mac-conn...). You can download windows phone connector from the Mac App Store.

The connector will sync music, playlist, videos, and podcast from your itunes collection as well as your photos from iPhoto and Aperture. You can access everything in itunes like you would if you were syncing your idevice only in WP connector. It works quite well in my experience. Personally I have windows 7 running in VMware Fusion so I can use other programs as well as the zune software to listen to music (zunepass) on my MacBook, not itunes. The connector does everything that the zune software does except for accessing the zune marketplace and you can't wirelessly sync your phone because it's not built into WP connector. I hope they will add wireless sync to the connector in the near future as they have just updated it weeks ago.

Google Calendars work fine. In pre-mango you can only access your main calendar though. With the mango update you can use multiple calendars however, google is not allowing people on WP to do so. There is a very easy work around for this. Here is the link: windowsphonesecrets.com/2011/07/08/workaround-for-...

I know Google Contacts work but I have not personal experience with them. I switched all my email, calendar, and contacts from google to live.

In short...your should be fine using WP with a Mac. Feel free to ask any more questions if you have them.
