I have never played WoW, and don't think I'd enjoy them, but I just saw a co-worker get these today, and I have to say that they are EPIC. I have no clue about sound quality, but both the notion and execution (alliance/horde lights and logo, for example, and also the general shape,size and design) are top-shelf.

Yeah, I wonder if they're decent enough to use for some sort of FPS or other intense game with a lot of directional sound? They definitely look like they're well put together though.

yeah, both look and feel well put together. Haven't listened to them, however, and doubt I'll get the chance. BTW, I saw WoW on a 27" iMac the other day and holy carp does that look great. Not saying I have any desire to play the game, but... really nice looking on that screen.
