I also got the 1920x1200 screen. It really is great because you can get so much done with it at the same time.

Wow...didn't realise you could get that high a res on it! When I bought it a year ago they only had the 1440x900 or the 1280x.....thankfully I got the 1440, which is plenty for what I'm using it for.

I'm perfectly happy with 1440x900, 1920x1200 makes everything too small to see on a 15" screen imo.

Bought mine w/ 1920X1200 over a year ago... had to wait extra couple of weeks because of it. Great laptop except: 1) battery life sucks, 2) runs too hot, 3) it was extremely difficult to color calibrate. Cost me a lot less than 17" MBP (matte screen), but there's no comparison.

I also got the 1920x1200 screen...took forever to ship. I don't have any problems with battery life, but the laptop runs so hot, i've literally burned myself on it. Also, it's difficult to adjust the sensitivty on the touchpad for such a high dpi screen...oh well, great for gaming on the go.

I've had thermal problems too. Just normal operation isn't so bad, but if I have it sitting on my lap and fire up a game (Fallout 3, for example) it goes beyond being uncomfortably hot.

Otherwise a pretty solid machine.

I wanted to get the 1920x1080 but I was too tempted by the LED backlight display. In short, I am glad I did because it looks incredible!! On the other hand I want t 15" MBP now...

I also got the 1920x1200 for realistic gaming frame rate, I usually run it at 1440x900, and a bit more if fps is not too much of a concern...

I got the 1920x1200 and run it at 1680x1050. If only the system came with a graphics card worthy of taking advantage of the other components...

Why do you run it at a lower than non-native resolution? Doesn't that make things slightly fuzzy or blurry?

I have the WUXGA screen, and love it. To this very day it pains me to see a normal consumer laptop running that 1280x800 business... I am so used to the super high resolution that even my two 24"s that I use at home seem kind of low resolution compared to my laptop, haha.

1920x1200 on a 15" screen makes the text much too small to read. Everything needs custom zooming options, and it's really just much too hassle.

In saying that, when I step down to something like 1280x800 from 1680x1050 I do notice a definite fuzzy-ness, so maybe you would notice the same between the 1900 and the 1680 - I don't notice, so I'm good with it.

Although, if I ever get a big external screen, native resolution FTW. :)
