Hey all, I'm going to buy either a Roku XDS or Apple TV for my mom. The primary use is watching Netflix, but other features are also appreciated.

What's the best choice for a tech simpleton?

I've never used a Roku (so I can't say which is better) but I do have an Apple TV and not only can both my parents easily navigate between viewing movies/tv shows from the Computer or Netflicks tab, but so can my 3 year old nephew who enjoys watching shows like Rugrats and Spiderman.

AirPlay has already become another awesome new feature for us, now we just press play from our iDevices and send the video/audio to the Apple TV and sit back and enjoy, less navigating for us.

Apple TV is definitely better to use.

I have both a Roku and ATV. ATV is more versatile and can bring all your iTunes crap to your TV as well as interact with your iPhone/iPad which is cool. But I think the ATV Netflix interface sucks, Roku is easier and better to use. ATV's Netflix interface just seems like an afterthought.
