I've been using Launcher Pro Plus on my Galaxy S and plan to do the same when my Galaxy S II gets delivered on Monday. Using LPP, you can pretty much customise the interface to look and work however you want.

I hated the way the app drawer works... 1 they aren't in any order 2 you have to flick sideways.

Do you know that you can switch to an alphabetical list view? Hit the menu button...

I do, but it still annoys me.

Replaced TouchWiz with Launcher Pro after 1 day of having it. Didn't like that I couldn't replace the stock icons at the bottom and didn't like the way it browses widgets when you want to add to the homescreens.

You can easily replace the icons at the bottom of the screen. Open the app-drawer, press MENU, select Edit. You can now drag the desired icons to the "dock". But I agree. Widget-browsing is quite annoying...

When you say icons do you mean the actual apps at the bottom? You can replace those.

I use GO Launcher EX.

Nope, TouchWiz seems fine for me at the moment (coming from Sense). Actually I quite like it so far as it is unobtrusive. No doubt in 6 months, I will get bored and them get a new launcher.

As a long standing Cyanogenmod user ADW was the natural choice, and as I chose to support the developer by buying the EX version, that was what I installed.

I love the extra functionality liked the hidden app tray, swipe down for notifications (great for larger screens) and optional app draw settings.

But strangely, more than anything, the reason why I installed a different launcher is to get rid of those annoying permanent home screen icons and 'organic' feeling.

Now my home screen snaps to attention in tune with the power of the phone, I feel people often confuse the this intentional coding for lag.

I haven't yet found a launcher that's better than TouchWiz 4.0. I'm in love with it!

I use Launcher Pro it gives you tons of options and is pretty responsive. ADW is also very good.
