Mine isn't scheduled to arrive until 11/13, but I'm hearing some people already have theirs! Did you get yours yet, if you did what are your impressions of it so far?
If you haven't received yours yet, why did you decided on the Boxee Box instead of all the other alternatives, Apple TV, Roku, Western Digital live TV, any of the Google TV boxes?
I decided to preorder mine because of the ability to stream basically all filetypes through my local network, the interface not being half bad, and the design of the box (and remote) itself being pretty unique.
The thing I'm worried about is the browser being blocked, which will probably be the case come next week, but we'll see.
Discussion about
Has yours shipped yet?
Not that I didn't see this coming, but Hulu Plus and Netflix will be coming to the Boxee Box, Netflix by the end of the year and Hulu Plus sometime next year.

Looks like this might be the settop box to get.

to answer your question peterto. before i decided to get the Boxee, i bought the gateway drug WDTV Live+. the ability to play all the files my xbox 360 and ps3 couldn't play was addicting, but it is not a very good box for playing other online content.
this started me on the hunt for a box that could play both personal content along with social content. The Boxee was immediately on my radar and trying the software on my pc gave me a good idea as to what to expect. but it didn't have a release date and there were still a lot of questions (Netflix? Hulu? are they a long term player against the likes of Apple and Google?).
Then Google TV pulled me away from Boxee because even if they don't have every feature at launch, Google being behind this means the resources are there to evolve this platform to the point it will have all the features i want (and all on the first input!). i bought the Logitech Revue and i really like it.... but at it's current state is lacking on the personal file front (something very important to me). i am quite sure that once the apps for GTV start coming out this will be rectified and i bough it because of this potential, but i wanted a solution now (i would like to put the WDTV in the kids room connected to a small portable drive with all their animated fare).
Back to Boxee. the guys at Boxee have the right balance of content integration and file format support, and they are open. so i preordered a boxee on the 9th, it's been shipped and will arrive the 12th. i'm keeping the Revue in the bedroom, i like how easy it is to just search, find and play online content while watching TV.

Shipped via Amazon.com (changed at 12:40am on the 9th will have on my door-step on the 12th)
I do already own a Roku (bedroom Netflix player), pre-ordered and then returned the AppleTV since boxee can't be installed on the new one.
Excited about Hulu+ and Netflix to work on boxee box.. that was the selling point for the wifey. ;-)

I do not see an option to change the browser user agent yet. Will play with it some more this weekend to see if ABC/CBS/NBC/Fox work in the browser or not...
