Has AT&T caught your unauthorized tether?

So Engadget's reported that AT&T is now cracking down on illegal tetherers using MyWi or other jailbreak tools. Have you gotten a text message yet saying that they've found you out? If you have what devices do you use with you AT&T connection? I only tether with my iPad and have yet to get a txt from AT&T saying they've found me out yet. I wonder if AT&T can tell the difference between iPad and iPhone traffic or if there's an extra IP assignment they are detecting.

So far, so good, for me. And I usually tether to my laptop. No more than a gig a month or so though. It's kind of ridiculous though. I'm paying for the data, I should be able to use it how I want!

they will let you use your data in so many other ways but on mobile it is a no no, why?

"If we don't hear from you, we'll plan to automatically enroll you into DataPro 4GB afterMarch 27, 2011. The new plan - whether you sign up on your own or we automatically enroll you - will replace your current smartphone data plan, including if you are on an unlimited data plan.

If you discontinue tethering, no changes to your current plan will be required."

Wow.

It would be illegal if you aren't tethering, but by tethering your device you're breaking your TOS with AT&T and thus they can do that...

Well, at least that's what I've heard!

So far my guess (from reading jailbreak forums) is that AT&T is going after people who are tethering and downloading really big amounts of data, like 20 GB a month. One guy claimed to tether his PS3 to his iPhone, which just sounds painful and worth a smack down.
