Has anyone figured out how to work WebOS on any other devices aside from the Pre/Pixi?
There's a hardware thing that would make porting it to other devices awkward --the gesture area. Every webOS device has an area below the screen for making gestures, such as the gesture tap (acts somewhat like a 'right click' on a computer depending on where you use it), the back gesture, the forward gesture, app-switching gestures, and the up gesture (this one you could do without a dedicated gesture area).
That said, it does has the same processor and graphics chip as a Nokia N900. The N900 has a higher res screen but lacks a multi-touch capable display. Bummer. They have ported webOS 3D games to the N900 with minimal modifications or no though, as both devices use SDL.
