happy w/ mino HD?

how happy are you guys with the mino HD? i just got it a couple weeks ago ... i have a couple of minor complaints.
1. it feels like after sundown, this product is useless. i obv knew this when i bought the mino HD but it seems like i've missed out on a lot of things i wanted to record
2. i wish there was adjustable recording quality if possible. i understand simplicity is the key to this product but it would have seemed like a useful option to have.

other than that, i'm quite satisfied. its a very handy little gadget and does its job quite well.

i just had mine delivered today (amazon gold box special for $119) and i'm a little disappointed with the quality. i know it's a budget device and i wasn't expecting 4k quality video, but was expecting more for a 720p device. now my issue with quality is when playing back on a 47" tv, for web content it is more than adequate. it has its use and plan to use it for quick little clips but will still need another solution for high quality vids. for the price though, not bad.

I too am a bit concerned with the image quality. From what it looks like, you need to have a significant amount of light in the room in order to obtain the fps need for decent image quality. Been considering returning it for something else...

I wish there was some kind of image-stabilization, since it's tiny, it's pretty hard to keep filming smooth while moving. The quality is way better than my iPhone 3GS, and I love that it records H.264 with AAC audio, because I mux them to MKV and publish my videos using the DivX Plus Web Player:

And here's some sample video done with my flip here:

For the price, I'm pretty satisfied, since it's got loads of storage (2 hours), long battery life and decent quality for something that portable.
