Guy's i need your help , am thinking about upgrading from my htc desire to desire hd ?

Check your palm size :) it is larger than the Desire. If you are going to get uncomfortable holding the Desire HD, an upgrade will leave you less happier. Besides that, I think it is a better phone -- yet, you should look at the Thunderbolt too :-) better is a moving target...
This is just very subjective feeling, but I had Desire & now have Desire HD. What I have observed that HD is sometimes slow & not so smooth ( scrolling , zoom in zoom out ...) perhaps due to backround apps, but that were running on Desire too

I may be pretty late, but figured I'd give my 2 cents anyways.
The upgrade may not feel so worth it. You can wait a little longer and get a much better phone, like the Thunderbolt that should be released any day now. In any case, I do suggest waiting and getting a dual core phone as there seems to be many coming out this year. If you really want to stick to the Desire series, the Desire S should be out in a couple of months (May?).
