The screen is nice and bright (and nice and big). I had one dead pixel, which was surprising; it's been a while since I have seen a dead pixel on a device of this size. The responsiveness is decent, but not good. It is a much different experience from the iPhone or the Pre. You feel like you have to press down pretty hard on the screen. It is hard to say whether that is just sluggishness or the responsiveness of the screen, but it's noticeable.
It is, however, miles ahead of Archos's last generation of screens, so that is something.

I got mine yesterday from Amazon as well and it also had a dead pixel. They are sending me out a new unit. I like the device so far. I just wish it had the Google Android Market.
I agree. The reason I was excited about this was to have the ability to play with Android and Android apps without buying a phone. Unfortunately, it does not seem like that is really going to work.
On the plus side, it is a lot thinner and nicer than I thought, and there are a decent number of apps in their specialized store.

Got mine today....have a couple of questions:
1. Anyone know how to set proxy settings on the browser?
2. Anyone been able to connect a keyboard to the device?
