cool. i am on the precipice of buying one for an upcoming trip i'm taking. i already have an SD780 which takes HD video but probably doesnt compare to the IQ of the S90 for stills. if only the S90 took 720 video i'd buy in a heartbeat. i think i'd miss that if i replaced the sd780 with it.. but i might just need both , the SD780 can be "given" to the gf, LOL

yea, the s90 is definitely made for great stills. i had some fun playing around with it last night, doing some great low light pics, out looking at christmas lights, and playing with light-writing with some friends. from what i can see so far, image quality is pretty amazing for the size of camera, but also does not seem made for video at all.

the video is low def, no zoom while recording, and audio is quite bad. if video is very important, i always recommend people just get a dedicated camcorder. even a flip or pocket cam will give better quality than most point-and-shoots.
