Got an Xbox 360 from my nephew that had a red ring of death and was outside of the warranty period.

I used an online guide to repair it myself, and it actually worked. It's been over a month and haven't had any problems. I was going to get a PS3 and maybe an AppleTV, but both those purchases have been put on hold, at least as long as this Xbox keeps working. Now, if I can only get a Kinect sensor before Christmas....
