I actually bought a little case from Incase that's supposed to be for GPS devices.

The camera fits nicely and has a little "pocket" inside (no zipper or anything, just a division) where I have an extra battery, sd card, and usb cable. Works for me. It's usually sitting inside my laptop bag, but I've carried it in my coat pocket several times.

I picked up the D-Wrap from Lowepro, works pretty good: products.lowepro.com/product/D-Wrap,2127,25.htm

I just hate cases. I like my gadgets as small as they can be, so I only use the case if I throw it in a bag. Maybe I'll get used to it, but it is nice for what I use it for.

I chose a Hakuba all purpose pouch(ss size) for about 10 dollars (970 yen). It's padded with a draw string that lets you pull out the camera quickly. Hakuba is a popular camera company here in Japan. They make a lot of camera equipment. I found the camera cases to be way to expensive and unnecessary.

I ended up going with this slipcase from Wenger -

I work at best buy, and was able to find this in our camera department after looking around for a while. It is a very snug fit, but does a good job of protecting it, while still allowing the camera+case the ability to fit in a jean pocket, which was my main concern.

It might have enough room next to the lens to put a spare battery, but I dont have one so can't say for sure. Otherwise there are not extra pockets or anything to carry any accessories. I use it strictly as something to slip my camera in and out of tight pockets with, and it works great for that, I have been very happy with it.

After using a Sony "leather" case that happen to be an open buy at Best Buy for the DSC-W5, I ended up purchasing the actual Canon S90 case. I love the suede inside and feel like it really does protect the protruding lens due to a cut out in the outer flap but be forewarned, it doesn't have much padding, if any. I do hate how it only allows for a belt loop strap rather than a clip of some type hence you won't find me wearing this thing on my hip :/ I wouldn't anyways...but check it out! I highly recommend it.

don't hate b/c it costs $34.99 --> www.amazon.com/Canon-PSC900-Deluxe-Leather-Case/dp...
