FW 1.32NA Released July 20,2009

I'm downloading it now, I'll let you guys know how it works out when it's installed.

I'm hoping this will fix all the problems with 1.31

I've had it installed for a few days, so far so good. My DNS relay problems have been solved.

So far so good for me too. No wireless drops and the Slingbox Pro HD seems to be streaming consistently. I also like the the ability to disable the graphical authentication.

I'm still having problems with the wireless range. It's still worse than before 1.31. :( I'm thinking of throwing this thing out and getting a new router.

ok, maybe i jinxed it. my entire connectivity seems to drop once every few days. i echo Newpunk's sentiments, its time for a new router.

I know it might be to late for those who already updated to 1.31,1.32 but I'm on 1.21 and its really solid. I don't think I've ever had to reboot my router expect when changing settings. Just mentioning this so other's on the 1.2x version may want to wait for a future/better version of 1.3x since you can no downgrade.

I'm one of those impatient users who jump to new firmware regardless the risks... but for once, I've restricted myself from updating my DIR-655 to 1.3x firmwares. I think after reading all these comments, it would be only wise to stick to 1.21 for some more time.

Any news here? Anyone had further troubles or positive experiences? I've held off upgrading so far, will probably continue to do so.

So do I, ryan, so do I.... and it's rather difficult for an upgradoholic like me. :P

I'm also an "Upgradeohlic" but this is the first time I decided to wait. If the router gets messed up then so if everything else.

Exactly mate... can't put the network on risk, I would be grilled by all people on my network faster than I could say "upgrade". :P

I for one had a horrible "upgrade" experience. The router refused to communicate with my cable modem and would not get an IP address from my ISP at all. I called D-Link and my cable company (which was not the problem) and D-Link again to finally get the internet up! My internet was down for about half of the day. And when I reloaded my saved configuration it went down again!! I finally got it to come back up hours later but I have no confidence in it anymore... This was the worst firmware upgrade ever for me.......

Did the upgrade this weekend, as i was having problems with the LG BD390 connectivity (which apparently hates this router). Upgraded, turned SecureSpot off, and so far, so good.

Definitely save your settings to a file before upgrade though, as the upgrade does put everything back to factory.

(Upgraded form 1.21 to 1.32NA)

yeah, turns out after the update this thing decided to not give an IP to my main PC anymore. worked fine with the BD390 an PS3...where were the reason I updated...but with the computer not getting an IP until I reboot the router...I decided to try out a netgear router.
