minor issues i had:
facebook sync - there's a fix though
camera not showing anything - fix is in the works.
overall it's great. all the major things are working (no flash though. don't care about that personally).

Froyo! the fine folks at xda have froyo up & running on the cdma hero. installed it last night. very fast.
sounds good! I was already happy about the official 2.1, very happy with it (GSM version). Can't wait for the 2.2 :)
Sounds promising. Is it plain vanilla Android? I have wanted to try that for a while now. I just finally managed to upgrade my Telus Hero to the 2.1 ROM. I do not like how it's going with ROM upgrades from HTC and Telus at this point, but if people keep working this hard to have other things working, we'll be set.
