When I click on "Follow this discussion" I get an email for each reply or thereabouts, if it's a popular topic posted by Peter or Ryan I tend to get loads of emails which if unchecked gets a little overwhelming.

Yes, I am following the discussion so I'm obviously interested in what's being said, however it would be great if we had a communications preference where gdgt will send us a daily or weekly email digest of each discussion I'm following, so I can pick them up in the evening or at the weekend when I have the time, with the email digests acting as a reminder of my followed discussions.
