Auto suggest for text....that's awesome. Can't wait to try this out. Hopefully Zune keyboard will now function more like the iPhones.
one person in the Zune forums said that the web browser is quote "A LOT" faster.... any truth to that?
Yes browser is way faster!!! I love it! On previous sites were it would be slow to load it now is very quick. I hope they fixed the browser crashes as well.
Everything from teamxbox.com, gmail.com, engadget.com....they all load much faster.
I also love the new option in settings for Mobile / Desktop version of site.
Typing has been drastically improved in my opinion. It now works much better with predictive text. The keyboard in landscape is especially nice to use.

- Better ability to scroll when typing a message online (Type a long message and want to scroll to the top? Impossible on v4.1)

- FULL SCREEN TYPING IN LANDSCAPE!!!! (no more little floating box!) :D :D :D :D
- You can skip from one row of keys no the next

That is really cool. I hope they continue to expand on this in future. That sort of info really doesn't require a lot of disk space. If the software can be made smart enough to sync bios of artists that are related to the music I already have (i.e. it gives me info about artists I don't have on my Zune but are related to artists I do have on there) it would be a great little excyclopaedia of music that I like and that I might like.
That sounds cool, but they would have to limit it to 1 or 2 degrees of seperation, or maybe only sync bios that are linked to more than one artist that you do have, otherwise it seems like it could expand exponentially really quickly

Edit: Hmm the update seems to have re-arranged my browser favorites, putting some of my most-used at the bottom. Would be nice to put those in any order you'd like.

If the Zune software still says 4.1 is the latest, I've found a method that will force your Zune HD into upgrade mode.
1. Disconnect your Zune from your computer and close the Zune software.
2. Press and hold the POWER and MEDIA (side media control) buttons until it says 'Please connect to computer.'
3. Reconnect your Zune and open the Zune software.
Simple as that. This shouldn't erase any content, but it will cancel your sync relationship, so you'll need to go into Device settings and put that back on. :/
WARNING: It *MIGHT* erase your content on your Zune (it didn't on mine) so make sure everything's also in your Collection on your PC before you start.

I previously could not load google maps website on the Zune HD. It now works! This is a great sign that Java works much better now.
After browsing around a little bit, I've found that some heavy javascript sites are working better but a lot of them are still painful to use. I also get "cannot load requested page" with a lot of bing search results, but Google search results work fine. what the hell microsoft? Also still some quirks with pages just not loading, map sites not working well (or at all) and general wonkiness. It hasn't crashed and rebooted the Zune since the update, however.

I still have an issue with gmail that if i have the "remember me" box checked it says that i have cookie functionality turned off even if cookes are enabled in the internet settings menu.
Anyone know why/how to fix? Its not a huge problem, but it would be nice if my zune would remember me and I would not have to type in my name and password.
PS this is on the mobile gmail site.

has anyone had problems updating their Zune HD to 4.3?
My Zune's been connected for about 1 hour now and has been stuck at stage 3 of 4 Updating Zune. It says updating should take around 5 mins but its been stuck at stage 3 for a while. I barely had any music, just a few podcasts, total space used was around 2 gb.
Any help?

Has anyone noticed anything special about the new UI? with the home screen, it's slightly affected by the accelerometer so it seems like the whole thing has a 3D effect. try tilting it and notice that the boxes and text overlaps each other. I thought I was tripping out. Was this an old feature or not?
