I found a guy that makes some great themes, really makes the OS look a lot nicer than the default icons which look like they were designed in the 70's. Most are free and a couple for a fee. My favourite one so far is Touch(Zen). Make sure to download the "seven" icon set and install the (E) version.

Other great games system emulators for S60 3rd Edition that benefit from the full QWERTY screen (plenty of candidates to map game keys to) include:
eemame
picodrive (Sega Genesis)
vSun (SNES)
vNes (NES)
Frodo (C64)
SCUMMVM
Duke Nukem 3D
Quake (there's a version of this that works on handsets without a FPU processor like the E71. The S60 ports of Quake 2 and Quake 3 require beefier hardware then the E71 has got)
Doom
Wolfenstein 3D
All of these work like gangbusters on my Nokia E90 and should be great on the E71.

Nokia E71 vs Black Berry Bold 9700
Hello gdgt community,
I am debating between the Nokia E71 and the Bold 9700. I've had my Nokia for about 8 months when I dropped it and the screen went black. I dropped it off at the store to get fixed, but, rather than go a few days without a phone I got a Bold from T-Moblie. My Nokia will be fixed in a few...
Anyone unlocked an E71x and put Nokia firmware on it?
I hate AT&T. I don't think I can tolerate them much longer. I'd like to take my E71x to T-Mobile. Anyone done this? Or should I just suck it up and buy another phone?
External wireless keyboards for Nokia handsets?
Can someone suggest some good external wireless keyboards for Nokia handsets. My expectations are good build quality and it should be portable. Thanks in advance!
Threaded SMS?
