Fan problem
I have had my 1525 for about 1.5 years now, it is the c2d t5750, x3100, 3gb, 250gb hd spec'd device.
I have installed latest bios of A17, and have recently cleaned out the fan by disassembling. This has helped with my heat problem, however one issue remains. The fan on this model is retarded. It doesn't like to slowly dissipate heat, instead waits to warm up to 51 C and then blows the fan relatively loudly until it cools to 39 C. I wish there was compatible software which would allow me to regulate this retarded behavior.
I have read all over the web and it seems that there is no way to change this. Basically, put up with bad manufacturer that doesn't support their product well. :(
It's still a good laptop for the price, 650$ CAD
