Ever since the latest firmware update enabled the USB channel on the Roku, I've yet to have a 4gb 720p MKV file run on this thing successfully.

I'm sure many have had this problem. I'm wondering what you have done to get around it? re-encode? If so, what software have you used, profiles, codecs, etc. to get successful video playback?
