An earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand earlier this week damaged a hundred and six year old cathedral. Worried that the building was too unstable for humans to venture into, engineers bought a Parrot drone to fly into the building.

Pretty crazy. I know a lot of people love these iPhone / iPad drones for the augmented reality stuff that can be done with them. I think this is the first time they've been used for something serious?
