Enable multi-finger clicks, taps, swipes and pinch to zoom!
I just discovered BetterTouchTool in one of the comments and I think more people should know about it. It enables almost any gesture you could dream of and it's free! It's still in beta stage but already very useful. The developer continues to update the app almost everyday with more neat features.

Agreed! This is phenomenal! My Magic Mouse just became a lot more useable. Honestly, when they announced the mouse and the capacitive touch, this is exactly what I thought Apple would have. I'm pretty surprised it had to take a third party developer doing this as a hobby to make the mouse useful.
Regardless, fantastic application!

Might just have to buy a Magic Mouse now. My Mighty Mouse is getting a little tired of running its paces. I'm actually very excited to try this out!
Bought Mouse, installed BTT. MM is pretty much unusable without it. It took a while to get the settings just how I wanted them. Now that it's set up its like having proper trackpad gestures on my mouse!
For those that havent seen it, jitouch.com has a nice tool to enable gestures and such on the magic mouse as well. There is also an app called MagicPrefs that I've been using for a little while as well.
At first, I was using two-finger swipe up/down for Expose and Show Desktop (using BetterTouchTool). It worked very well but my only beef with it was that you can't keep both fingers on the mouse while only scrolling with one.
Since then, I have reverted back to Middle-Click for Expose. It is what I was used to with my Mighty Mouse and its one of the few comfortable gestures that work very reliable so far.
I've just tried JiTouch and MagicPrefs. Magic Prefs doesn't work that well yet but I love the live mouse view it has in its preferences. JiTouch so far has the most reliable gestures but is not as customizable as BetterTouchTool.

Another thing that I am liking about JiTouch is the creativity of gestures. It has a whole slew of creative gestures that work very reliably. One of my my favorites is the thumb gesture.
BetterTouchTool has a lot of interesting gestures too but they don't work as reliably yet. One feature the developer is working on is using the Magic Mouse as a handheld remote. I will be looking forward to that.

Also there is MouseWizard 5.5 d16cc4ad.seriousurls.com/ which I think has a more user friendly interface.
There's another app called MagicPrefs. Looks very nice. Haven't tried yet. It renewed my interest in getting a Magic Mouse.

MagicPrefs is what I use and I think it's amazing. I'm going to have a hard time if I have to go back to a normal mouse now. It enables increased tracking speed, multi-finger taps, clicks, swipes, drags, etc. Everything I need, and it stays out of the way. Really, the magic mouse should have come with this.
