I just upgraded from an HR24 to the new Genie and now cannot record and watch any of the Directv Cinema channels. The Genie is connected with HDMI cables to my Denon Suround Sound Receiver and the TV is also connected top the Denon with HDMI cables. Directv is now saying to record and watch these channels I have to connect the Genie directly to the TV and connect my TV to the Denon receiver with either a digital cable or component cables. This type of connection(s) drastically degrade the quality of the sound. Before upgrading I had no problems recording and watching these channels with the same connections as above. Anyone else experencing this problem?
