crashes to BIOS screen

i am an owner and have from time to time been experiencing random crashes to the bios screen. these are extremely annoying and i am wondering if anyone else has been experiencing the same problems?

i have updated the bios, software, hardware etc via asus live update to the latest versions.

did a manual reinstall of bios and problem seems to be fixed if anyone cares

I got the same problem. I recently updated the BIOS to version 212 and the issue is getting better (very few crashes). But now with the new BIOS it does not sleep when I close the lid. No matter what I try it does not work 100%. It goes to sleep properly now and then but most of the time it just sleeps for 1 sec and then wakes up.. Its annoying!

i think i downloaded the just the drivers from their site and only installed them... didnt use asus live update software and it has been working fine since
