Discussion about
Commercial
I am a frequent reader of Engadget and enjoy listening to the podcast as well. In a recent episode and others the guys discussed Palms situation and how poorly advertised Pre Plus has been by Verizon. I was watching the tube today and saw a commercial for the Pre Plus that didn't suck and actually made me want to buy one. Just wondering if you people out there thought advertising was a problem? Also have you seen the new ad does it have a impact on you making you a little more intrigued by the Pre Plus on a fantastic network? Just curious to see what others thought.
I think its the one that has a white background and talks about 'signature design', 'bringing your calendars together' and what not with a montage of shiny closeup renders of the Pre Plus. It's an okay commercial but it still feels lackluster to me for some reason. I'm no longer that intrigued by WebOS. I think it seems great but the Android and iPhone commercials seem to bring more energy to the table that would motivate more people to consider a purchase.
