I've been hearing about this thing for a long time but they finally anounced some more info.

Ugh. I certainly hope so. I REALLY want something like this. Either this, the Mac tablet, or anything comparable. I think the multitouch slate tablet in the sub 800 price range is an awesome idea. I think it would be much more useful than a netbook. I have no use for a netbook, but if someone came out with a tablet like that, it would be awesome. Desktop at home for the real work, and take this around, because aside from that, the only thing I need is web browsing. Something like this feels like its way from the future, and for this price, I would pick one up as just a conversation starter.

I, like USAF22, would like something to come out in this product category...i.e. a touchscreen tablet with ubiquitous connectivity and I would like to also see some e-reader functionality and FLASH out of the box at the very least.
