How often do you use the cell phone data connection on your iPad, or does WiFi suffice. I am trying to decide which model to get and could benefit from some feedback on how often this comes into play for other people.
As of now I see the iPad as being primarily a game device and possibly a minor use as a software appliance (omni plan / omni focus).

Cell Phone Data Connection
It really depends on how you're going to use it and what you want to spend. I know people who commute by train and like to be able to read and respond to emails and stream music en route, who get a lot of use out of 3G on their iPads. But most of the time, WiFi seems adequate, especially if you live someplace where the local cable company has blanketed the area with hotspots (which is becoming increasingly common), or have easy access to Starbucks, McDonald's and other sources of free WiFi.
