Anybody know if the Cradlepoint CTR350 can be used as a wireless router, with an ethernet cable as the source for the internet (WAN) rather than the USB cellular modem? This would be useful in hotel rooms with free broadband that comes into the room via ethernet, etc.
If you have been able to get this to work, please explain how.

Can the CradlePoint CTR350 be used as a wireless router for ethernet WAN?
Davphelps,
Yes you can use the 350 with a WAN ethernet source. The ethernet port is a WAN/LAN port, it is set in the setup pages of the router. It is by default a LAN port so you would need to access your admin pages and change it to WAN. To do that do the following:
1. Access setup pages by going to http://192.168.0.1 and logging in.
2. Once logged in go to the Basic tab along the top.
3. Select the WAN page from the left hand side menu.
4. Once here you will see a box labeled Ethernet Port Mode set the Mode to WAN save settings and your in business!
Hope that helps!
