Can anybody recommend a remote control for the PS3 that is more DVD-like?

Although I have no problem with the game controller, certain members of my family are having a hard time adapting to a game controller as a DVD remote.

Lampbane and Armpit are right on. I have this for my PS3 and never use my controller for interfacing with Netflix or playing Blu-rays and DVDs. $20 at Amazon www.amazon.com/Sony-PlayStation-3-Blu-ray-Disc-Rem...

The Sony Remote is only $15-20 used and I can't imagine using the controller to pause, play subtitles, rewind, etc for a blu ray/dvd movie. It's not really a splurge, the remote is cheap if you think about how much you will inevitably use it. It handles very similar to a dvd remote, uses 2 AA batteries and doesn't have to be paired or plugged into the ps3, so there's really no complexity to it. You can also use it to navigate the playstation store and media (photos, videos and music) that you have transferred onto you PS3
