Broken UMD's

Maybe i'm the only one that doesn't know about this, but i've broken many UMD's. The enclosure cracks and the little cd just falls out. Its terrible. I've thrown away a few games because of this. I found a fix for this though. If you go on amazon.com and search for psp umd cases, they have replacement enclosures for your discs. They're sturdier than the original ones and dirt cheap! I wish I would have known this sooner :'(

How about just sticking it to the man and hacking your psp? Then get the games you threw out... too bad if its a PSP-3000 though :P to my knowledge these are still unhackable..

I hadn't heard of this and I have a bunch of UMDs that haven't broken... Did you leave them in the sun or something funky? I would hate the PSP if my games did this......

it happens. i had a soft case that i kept my psp and my games in. i didnt sit on it or anything, but i guess after a couple years and a few too many plane trips they finally had enough. it sucks

The encasements are crap and they crack easy. My cousin's are all cracked and taped up, just to get them working.
