It turns out that the message you may get saying: "Confirm your internet connection" is mis-leading.
The problem turns out, has absolutely nothing to do with the internet connection. After all, the box will stream a movie from Netflix just fine, why wouldn't be able to get a connection when playing a disk?
The problem is actually storage, you have to have a USB stick (or drive) plugged in and assign it as storage in order for the BD-Live to work. Also, I found out that the USB device must be formatted in FATx file system, I had mine formatted in NTFS and it wouldn't show up at all.
