AT&T will be releasing this as the HP Veer 4G -- so misleading!

This false advertising about 4G phones and services is getting out of hand.

Ya seriously. I mean it is faster than regular 3G but it can't touch actual 4G and it also makes it a problem for when they switch to LTE 4G people are going to be confused. Now you are going to tell them that this 4G is faster than the old 4G? Plus I can't think of the last time we where so blatantly lied to on a scale of this large.

Actually since AT&T doesn't have LTE it's kind of smart in a mean way dilute the '4G' brand.

But when they actually have 4G what do they tell people? we now have 4G+? or this 4G is more faster than the previous BS we just sold you.

I don't think it can be good for them when they have to tell people they weren't actually selling people 4G

4G will lose value and LTE will be the brand name that gains prominence.

I completely agree. And it would be a completely different story if the network actually performed as advertised but they never reach their theoretical 4g speed.
