As a previous owner of the Lacie 1TB NetworkSpace (wired version of this) I have to say I am not too excited over this new product.

The unit I had was biblically slow and very rarely could I ever use it with any degree of satisfaction. It ended up on eBay with a new owner fairly soon after I purchased it. I hope that Lacie have got their act together and managed to speed this up a bit - but I would proceed with caution on this one until some review units start making their way around.
