Over the past 18 months I have been moving all home computers from PC's to Mac's! During this transition I continued to use D-Link routers and about two months ago I purchased the Apple Airport Extreme. Good grief, WHAT a difference . . . especially impressive is the much larger foot print / coverage area! Set up was a breeze, and of course it plays well with the other Mac's on my LAN . . an old G4 iBook in the entertainment center, a new 13" Mac Book used exclusively by my wife and I use the 24" iMac. The powered USB and FireWire ports on the AAE are really helpful. Currently I'm using an iOmega Ext HD for Time Machine . . .but . . I'm not certain that at some point in time I will bag this Ext HD and simply purchase the Apple Time Capsule.

Excellent router . . . just like the other Mac's in my home . . .THEY JUST WORK! :-)
