Anyone else tried it at Borders? It was so awful to play around with... Did not like how laggy and slow the device was.

Hope that it's not really that slow...

Disappointing, this was something I had my eye on. It's harder than it looks to make a responsive tablet.

I also tried it at Borders and noticed how slow it was. I bet that is why they don't show the cpu speed in the specs.

We now know where the money need faster processor
common an Atom processor should not set these guys back that far
We still have netbooks in mid 200s

"Harder" isn't the right word. "Expensive" is probably what you're looking for.

were you using the reader, or the $300 tablet? My understanding is that there is a pretty huge difference between the two.

Gonna have to correct myself. They didn't tell me that it was the reader. I'll be able to give out another opinion in a week cuz the tablet version isn't available yet at the two stores I went to.
