I recently got a "like-new" warranty replacement for my DROID after the keyboard on the 1st unit started losing keys. The replacement unit shipped with FRG22D, while the old unit (which I got on the DROID's debut day) had been progressively upgraded to the same build from the 2.0 version it had when I first got it.
I spent yesterday evening setting the replacement up with almost the same app stack as the previous one, and have been pleasantly surprised to find it a lot more responsive and fluid than the phone it's replacing.
Given that both phones have the same specs, I can only assume this is due to the difference between the in-place OS upgrades of the old phone vs. the fresh OS install on the new one.

Anyone else notice that replacement DROIDs seem to run faster/better than their predecessors?
