Anyone else but me still think this monitor blows almost all monitors away?

It has an S-PVA panel which totally beats 90% of all the TN junk out there. I have two of them in a 3 monitor array and my brand new Samsung looks like a yellow/dull/muted piece of junk next to them, and they're older and have more input types.

I wish they still made these, really.

This really is one of the best monitors I have ever seen. When I bought it a few years ago the price reflected that superiority considering with the same money now I could probably get a 47" hdtv. There is only one feature missing from it that was rumored to be fixed with a firmware update but never was to my knowledge, 1:1 pixel mapping. Such a simple thing left out really detracts from the overall usage of this monitor, although admittedly only for the few who use it beyond just a PC monitor. Hooking my PS3 up to it results in some pretty ugly aliasing as the monitor stretches out the image to 16:10. Other than that small caveat this monitor is absolutely amazing. I have had one for years and it has always served me well, now I just have to get an HDTV for my non-pc needs.

Yeah, the very very first of the monitors didn't have 1:1 pixel mapping, but you could ship 'em back and get them flashed with the new firmware.

I have two, one of which was a refurb, and both have the new 1:1 pixel mapping. Works great for component!

Yeah, it's a great monitor. Despite the fact that I get temporary burn in as mentioned in the other threads here, I'm overall satisfied with it. PS3 games look pretty bad on it though, I ended up picking up a 47" LG in it's place...so I guess...problem solved. =P
