Many people do know this so I thought I would share, all Sony Readers are compatible with the Sony PlayStation Portable charger.
It will fully recharge the reader from empty to full in about an hour, and works fantastic.
If you don't have a PSP, but want a dedicated non USB charger, look for a third party PSP plug.
They are inexpensive and work great!

Good to know! I assumed that the different voltages between the charger and the reader would mean they were incompatible.
Another tip: If you're in a hotel and need a charger, ask the front desk if they have one for a Blackberry Pearl. They both use MicroUSB and most hotels have a pretty extensive supply of chargers for such emergencies.

My mistake in the earlier post, whereas the Reader and Blackberry Pearl do have the same power input, it's a MiniUSB, not Micro...
