Any detractors about the Brydge?
Here's the link to the kickstarter page

Although it's difficult to pay $200 for a peripheral you've never touched before from a start up, I really think this product can get some traction. I will be picking up a new iPad soon and am currently going back and forth between Logitech's new keyboard cover and the Brydge. Logitech currently has a very favorable review on CNET. reviews.cnet.com/keyboards/logitech-ultrathin-keyb...
I really like how the Brydge can be used to angle the iPad, similar to a laptop and I also really like having external speakers and the usb connection. Let me know if you have used Logitech's new accessory or if you have doubts about the Brydge.

Sure, plenty!!!! I love paying for a product that you'll never receive. I purchased one several months ago with the understanding that it would ship in mid-October, here we are in mid-November and, hey,......no Brydge. I've sent a couple of emails to the company and am not getting any reply on any updates. Maybe this is a scam?
This has been done already by another compnay: clamcase.com/ . I'm pretty sure they've been making them since the first iPad.
....true, except for the part about speakers and good looks. This covers the whole iPad. Some people may like that, but I like how with the Brydge you can easily pull the iPad right out of the dock. I would be more inclined to cover the iPad with a Zagg Invisishield, so covering the entire iPad doesn't appeal to me the way it may appeal to others.
In general I do like how this folds in a more versatile way...but it does look ugly and doesn't have the extra speakers.

The brydge looks very nice, and I might have gone with it instead of the logitech ultrathin thingy if I had seen it before. But maybe not -- it's twice the price and I'm not convinced, that it's twice as great -- does it support putting the ipad into portrait mode? I didn't notice that in the video ...
Warning! My Brydge arrived two and a half months late. The speakers, while at first just disappointing, stopped connecting to Bluetooth after three or four usage attempts and became undetectable from thereon. The keyboard contains blue up and down arrow- and page up- and page down- function keys that don't perform any visible scroll function on a web page, so why are they there ?
Red flag: no phone number for customer service and they won't supply you with one when you request it.
To make matters worse, when I sent the Brydge back for a promised exchange, I was told it shipped 11 days ago and that I would also receive an unsolicited credit on my Paypal account as a partial rebate.
Neither have arrived.
