And only one remains! I just deleted a whole bunch of tablets from my want list. Most of which were probably nothing more than prototypes.
But it included the Blackberry Playback (I've got a Galaxy Tab) and the Archos 10" (too little, too late). Only the Notion Ink Adam remains on the want list. But the question is, can they deliver before anybody else gets a good 10" Android tablet that isn't bound to a carrier into the stores?
I certainly hope so. I missed out on the preorder, but I want to get on on the second batch. Only disappointment for me is the use of a mini USB instead of micro. It's just the standard going forward, and one less cable I'll have to keep in my bag (my phone, headset, and mouse all have micro).
I have to say I'm pretty impressed with Motorola Xoom tablet. But Notion Ink's Adam is the way to go. Rohan (CEO & Founder) is constantly developing this thing. And it's still on the cutting edge. Read this: Motorola Xoom Tablet, the Honeycomb hostilities begin! exm.nr/ewl715
And it's gone. Too much negative press, plus the inability to walk into a store and check it out before buying it. Although I did just walk into the store and buy the Xoom, and all I saw was the placeholder card. I do hope my next tablet has a Pixel Qi (or similar) screen.
i worry that they will die out and stop being supported before too long, also worry about getting it in a timely fashion, i can go to best buy or somewhere with the money and buy a tablet today, or wait 6 - 8 weeks or whatever it has been for adam.
mind you, i was a big adam supporter pretty much since day 1. Just not as into it
