The Harmony One and 8xx support custom icons for your favorite channels, and the software has several included for common channels. But, they are kind of ugly, and don't match the theme of the Harmony remote well. And just having a text box is not classy at all. Here is how to get great looking icons onto your Harmony One.
1) Go to iconharmony.com
2) Find the icons for your favorite channels. Check the boxes under the ones you want: when you are done press the "zip icons" buttons, and download. Unzip the icons, just remember where you put them.
3) Start the Harmony software. Go to the activity (Tivo, cable, TV) and hit "settings" Choose the "Set up favorite channels and add icons" radio button.
4) Press next
5) Add your favorite channels. Add the channel number and whatever text. Press the "select image" button. Navigate to where you unzipped you icons and add them. The Harmony One supports up to 24 favorites (4 pages of 6 each).
6) When you are done hit "save" then "done"
7) Update your remote.
When you are on your activity press the "favorites" soft button and your new beautiful icons will appear. Enjoy your slick new remotes on the icon. Because everybody knows: the ladies love a man with a custom icon for FoodHD on their remote. Drives them wild with lust.

Adding classy icons to your favorites screens
Oh, and these directions work the same for the 880, 900, 1000, and 1100, just a few differences in some details. For instance, the 880 and 890 only allow 18 icons (3 pages at 6 per), and you have to press the hard "media" button when you are on the activity to bring up the favorites.
On the "Set up Favorite Channels" configuration page for your activity, check the "Show these channels on my remote when I start my Activity" checkbox at the very top of the page. Sync your remote and now when you start this activity it'll go straight to the Favorites rather than the soft buttons page.
