Depending on how much you add (and spend) this laptop can be one heck of a machine. Great size for a good portability/performance balance. Have plenty of friends with the same computer, and they've been having issues with the hardware (which isn't rare when it comes to Dell). I've also had problems with mine, with the hardrive, but once I sent it in it took a week and it was fixed, so no problems with Dell's services. So, all things considered, if your a student, get this one, but if your looking for a desktop replacement, stay clear from Dell.
