I have tried several installs of firefox and it does not work regardless. So with that in mind, I am wondering if any other incompatibilities exist.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew if the WWAN slot on the dell XPS m1530 was BIOS locked to only Dell branded wireless modules or not. i.e the laptop will not boot up windows when the BIOS detects a WWAN modules that is not Dell's own hardware eg Dell 5520 Mobile Broadband Card. I want to purchase a 3rd party mobile broadband adaptor and don't want to end up with the above situation (the BIOS not wanting to recognise the module). Has anyone had an issue with this unit getting extremely hot during such things as using itunes or being on the internet?
