When the XPS M1210 came out it was lauded for the amount of performance it could cram into such a small, portable frame. And it's a testament to the fact that it's still running very nicely after more than three years after some heavy use throughout university and high school. External Hard Drives Recognized as Internal Drive

Hello gdgt!, I use two external hard drives however both are recognized as non-removable drives. This is an issue because one of the drives is a portable drive (which draws power from the USB port). I would like to safely eject before disconnecting and since the drive is recognized as internal I can't. I don't want to run the risk of damaging my drive. I've tried Google to find information on this matter but haven't found anything. So, does know how to make Windows recognize...
