The thing is huge (in a good way). The 16:10 aspect makes a big difference compared to the more popular 16:9 "FHD" monitors. Menu system is very cool. It even detects as you move your finger closer to it and lights up the buttons before you touch them.

Going from 20" to 24" just changed my world. It's pretty impressive! So far, I'm happy with this monitor, though one thing I've noticed is that with the USB cable plugged into my MBP, I can't get the card reader in the monitor to work. I suppose I need to install the drivers for it? Bleeeeh.

I read this comparison when considering which to buy and thought it would be helpful. I have a U2410 at work and the coating is almost a dealbreaker for me. I have gone through 5 of these units and all of them showed to some degree to the other a fastidious tint gradation, showing a full screen white image you should notice that it starts as green on the left side of the screen gradually get top white towards the middle and then fade into a pinkish color on the right side of the panel. I find the strong anti glare coating of this monitor very annoying. Images and fonts are blurry, the older 2408WFP was so much better and sharper.
