I have been extremely impressed with the unit I have. It performs fantastically at everything I could ever want to do with it, graphics, video, programing, etc. The back-lit keyboard is fantastic for darkened conditions and the screen is sharp and comfortable for long term viewing. The only... Read the full review →
The Studio XPS 13 laptop is one of my favorite laptops. It's compact design and great performance really make this system stand out. I have been dual booting this system between Windows 7 (Final release), Snow Leopard and Ubuntu. While I have managed to get just about everything working under... Read the full review →
Last week, I went out laptop hunting. My 3-year old Sony Vaio was on it's last legs and I needed a replacement. Turns out it was the perfect week - Best buy was clearing out the old models to make room for the new ones the Studio XPS 1330 I'd been looking at for a couple of weeks was on... I bought this to replace my broken XPS M1330, and I'm very satisfied. The keyboard is the best I've tried yet. Nice feel and backlit. The screen is great too, very clear and good colors. Performance is what you pay for, if you spec it up it performs very well. I have a few issues though.... Read the full review →

Have had this laptop for almost 2 years now and it's taken a beating but is still serving me well. Speed has been great with Windows 7. No problems here. Battery life started at around 2.5-3 hours and is now at 2 hours. Display has some problems with whites; I think the default contrast is a... Read the full review →
The Dell Studio XPS 13 is a solid notebook that combines attractive style and performance in one easy-to-carry package. The Nvidia Hybrid SLI graphics do a fantastic job of balancing battery life and performance, and the available Core 2 Duo processors have all the muscle you need to get serious work done. That said, all this style and power comes at a price ... both literally and figuratively. Not only is the Studio XPS line priced above the Inspiron and current Studio lines but the Studio XPS 13 is also more expensive that the popular XPS M1330.
