The touch pad is a bit of a problem because the cursor periodically jumps to a different location if you accidentally brush the touch pad. There is a utility you can download from Dell to disable the touchpad, but you are then stuck with using the joy stick built into the keyboard, or dragging around an extra mouse.
Battery life if okay, but not great (I am down to about 90 minutes of run time on a charging, but the computer is about 4 years old).
