I bought this in the hopes that it could sate my thirst for an iPad. Sadly I was just tricking myself. My friend got the Lenovo S10-3T netbook tablet and sold his 3 months after owning it and got an iPad. Played with the iPad and realized that this does most everything I want. The problem is, I have a macbook that dual-boots os x and ubuntu (that I don't want to put windows on) and a netbook (Mini 10) that dual-boots ubuntu and windows 7. I had the zune software when it first came out, and I remember it being quite laggy and heavy on my main machine. Will I have a problem running it on the netbook? Are there any other similar services out there that will work with either os x or ubuntu? Thanks.

How sturdy (well built) is the mini 10? I am considering this and have had bad build quality issues with another netbook(the msi wind). What do those who own one think? will it hold up to a backpack filled with books 2 days a week?
Hello I have a mini 10v. I got it yesterday. It is nice but I have some problem. When I want to use some software on it, because of the resolution (1024 x 600) I can see the full page of software on the screen. There is any suggestion for solving this problem? Thanks
I am trying to decide between the Dell Mini 10v and the HP Mini 110 but when i heard the HP had the touchpad buttons on the side I am starting to lean toward the Dell. Basically I want to know if the touchpad buttons are located at the top of the touchpad or at the bottom. I ask because I couldn't find any good pictures of the keyboard. Any other reason why I should get one or the other would be helpful.
I was wondering what model of a 2gb RAM module is compatible with the 10v? I know it's quite a procedure to replace the RAM but I have the guts and really need the 2gb. Thanks much!
Hey Everyone, I currently have an Asus 1000HE and like it a lot - especially the battery life. Unfortunately the low screen res is a big issue for me. I'm hoping to stick with the 10" size (instead of going to a 12"), but I really would like a higher res display - is the Dell Mini 10 and HP Mini 1000 the only two netbooks with higher res displays? Has anybody gotten Jolicloud to work on the Mini 10? Currently, it only supports the Mini 10v, but I'm really interested in getting it working on my Mini 10.
I forgot the password to my laptop. Everyone has been telling me to use a disk to reset it, but there is no place to insert the disk on the mini! Am I just screwed? I can't take it to a place because if they reset it, i'll lose important information. Help!
Has anyone successfully installed Linux on their Dell Mini 10? If so, what distribution did you use? What version of that distro? If you had to do anything special to make the installation a success, can you please explain. I have searched the web extensively, but cannot locate a solid answer for this one. I've been holding out for a netbook for a while now and was wondering if the prospect of getting the Mini 10 with Ion should merit me holding it out for a few more months or however long it takes Dell to upgrade this this or should I just jump the gun now and go for it?
I'm thinking of jumping into this netbook game and am interested in everyone's opinion on which netbook to buy. I plan on running Ubunto not XP. Is the Asus Eee PC or the Dell Mini 10 a better way to go? and why?
Hello, I've heard so much news in the past of this notebook's predecessor, the Dell Mini 9, having perfect syncing with the Mac OSX operating system.
